SEM Manager

About Intellitonic We’re a digital marketing agency located in Bellingham, WA that serves clients all over The US, whether directly or via white-labeling. We work with for and non-profit organizations creating and maintaining SEO, SEM, and paid social media campaigns. We also have a dedicated team who creates new software tools based on the needs of our clients and other agencies like ours. Our team is small and agile – we are looking to add a new team member who can walk the talk, thrive, and positively shape our work culture. 


This person will manage SEM and technical tasks for Intellitonic clients. This is a fast-paced position that requires critical thinking and all-team collaboration, focusing on strategy, diligence, creativity, and measurable results. 

  • Google Ads account management
      • Work with Intellitonic Account Managers to:
        • Create new Google Ads campaigns based on client goals
        • Maintain Google Ads campaigns based on best practices and requests from clients 
      • Record actions & make suggestions in JIRA for Account Managers to easily digest and share with clients 
      • Attend client meetings as necessary
      • Respond to Account Managers within 24 hours (problem solving and projects may take longer, but must respond that we’re working on it)
      • Stay on top of industry trends and collaborate with Intellitonic team on best practices, findings, etc.
  • Technical Account Management
    • Google Tag Manager installation and troubleshooting
    • Conversion tracking setup, verification
    • Clients Websites
      • Setting up hosting solutions
      • Migrating websites
      • Managing DNS
      • Site speed optimizations


  • 5+ years experience working with Google Ads 
  • Highly organized individual who completes work as agreed upon and on-time
  • Solid writing skills
  • Keep track of hours (to help Intellitonic better understand where our time is spent to maintain efficiencies and better estimate and comprehend future work)
  • Maintain updated to do list in project management/workflow systems (e.g. JIRA) (to maintain clear communication on project progress and who is doing what)
  • Organize documents and email via Google Drive
  • Communicates with team via Slack


  • Experience with Microsoft Ads
  • Working and available between 10am and 3pm, save an hour for lunch break (other hours can be in or out of office as long as team member is reachable)
  • Fast-learner who can think on his or her feet
  • Independent and takes initiative; identifies things that need to be done and completes them
  • Critical thinker who can create refreshing strategies for internal and external clients
